Passing the GED (General Education Development test) provides certification that you have US or Canadian high school-level academic knowledge and skills. What is a passing GED score?

The passing score for the GED test is 145 out of 200 per subject. To earn the certificate, you must score at least 145 in each section of the test.

Some universities, however, may require higher scores. It’s important to check the specific requirements of the universities you plan to apply to so you can prepare accordingly.

While the GED certificate is widely recognised internationally, certain universities in Europe may have additional criteria. Therefore, it’s always advisable to confirm the specific admission requirements of your chosen institution.
